SNACKS & EXTRAS · 3 MIN READ

Takeaway chips, seafood bites, potato scallops and sauce

Snacks and extras can be the starting point for a smaller order or the finishing touches to a larger meal. Begin with what you feel like eating, then compare the options on the current Roddie’s menu.

Keep the purpose of your order in mind: are you choosing something for yourself, adding a side, or putting together a selection for several people? That decision makes the menu easier to navigate.

Look inside the snack packs.

Snack Pack 1 lists 3 calamari, 1 potato scallop and chips. Snack Pack 3 lists 5 nuggets and chips. Snack Pack 6 lists 5 salt and pepper squid and chips, while Snack Pack 7 lists 5 fish bites and chips.

Snack Pack 5 lists 5 potato scallops, without chips listed. That is a useful reminder to check each pack’s contents individually. For sauces, compare Tartare, Garlic Aioli, Barbeque and Ketchup on the current menu.

01 / THE GUIDE

Start with the size of your order.

Browse the snack-pack options and read the listed contents. Compare those choices with individual snacks rather than assuming the pack name tells you everything included.

Think about the appetites of the people eating and what else you plan to order. A snack alongside another meal is a different choice from a selection that will be the whole order.

02 / THE GUIDE

Check the contents before adding more.

Make a quick note of the items and quantities in your chosen pack. Then look at the rest of your order so you can spot repeated items and decide whether those extras are intentional.

A simple extras checklist

  • Read each pack’s listed contents.
  • Check quantities against your order.
  • Compare snacks, sides and sauces.
  • Ask the team about anything unclear.

Use the current menu for descriptions and prices. Photographs are helpful inspiration, but the listed contents are the place to check what you are ordering.

03 / THE GUIDE

Make the selection your own.

Explore the snacks, sides and sauces for the things you would enjoy most. There is no need to add an extra simply because it appears beside another dish in a photo.

If several people are eating, ask for their preferences before making the list. Keeping individual choices and quantities together can make the final order easier to check.

04 / THE GUIDE

Finish with a quick order check.

For ingredient or dietary questions, speak with the team rather than guessing from a name or photograph. Confirm any details that matter before placing your order.

When your list is ready, call Roddie’s on 07 4667 1118 and confirm collection arrangements. You’ll find us at 40/42 Albion Street, Warwick QLD 4370; the Contact page has directions and contact details.
